My service was disconnected but service has been restored. What do I have to do to obtain my discount again?

If your service has been restored and your address and/or telephone number has not changed then you should contact your carrier to make sure they have you listed as lifeline eligible and request they initiate contact with the LIDA call center at 1-866-454-8387 to be sure you are currently eligible to receive the lifeline discount.

If you are self-enrolled and your address and/or telephone number has changed you should contact your service provider and HHSC to update them with that information. After you have completed those requirements and if a new certification is still required one will be sent to you. You should complete and return that form using the instructions provided on that letter.

If you do not know your case worker you can contact HHSC at 1-877-541-7905.
